Pupils step into Giacomo Leopardi's shoes during his stay at Villa delle Ginestre. Starting from the places they visited and a few documents, they write a diary page, a letter or a first-person thought.
What pupils will do
- Observing the places and reading short sources.
- Choosing a point of view and a recipient.
- Creative writing: diary, letter or story.
- Optional sharing of the texts.
Goals
Get to know Leopardi more closely; develop autobiographical writing, empathy and personal reflection.
Who it is for
Recommended age: 9–18 years.
Classes: Years 4–5 of primary school, middle and high school.
How it works
- Length: 2 hours 30 minutes, guided visit of Villa delle Ginestre included.
- Teaching materials included: every pupil takes their work home.
- At least 20 paying pupils. One workshop leader every 20 pupils (€100), added automatically.
- Teachers and accompanying adults free, one every 8 pupils.
